Birthday Girls loved them Posted 18 August 2008 I bought two of these for my nieces ages 11 and 9. They are having so much fun with it. The wooden carrying box is a hit. When they opened thier gifts at the party several children wanted one and asked where they were purchased.
Impressive for the price. Posted 22 July 2008 Admittedly, this was purchased for a younger artist, but I didn't want something that would appear cheap. My son was so impressed with it that he spent most of the day telling his much older brother and sister to be careful with it. He then promptly sat down and started drawing sketches with the Art Set from a book purchased seperately for him.
The only reason I am not giving it 5-stars is that it was sent out of state as a gift, and I didn't see it myself. His reaction was described by the older sister.
Good quality cheap price Posted 23 January 2008 While I bought this for a friend I was still suprised at the quality I recived for such a good price. All of the pastels and pencils were in good order and the sketch pad was a swathmore, very good quality indeed.
wonderful art kit Posted 18 January 2008 I bought this for my nephew who has an interest in drawing. After receiving it, he called me and told me it was wonderful! He enjoys drawing with pencils but was experimenting with the other choices included in the kit. I'm very pleased with it!
I bought this for a college student Posted 12 January 2008 I first saw this at a different site, when I went back it was gone. I bought it here because I could not get out to buy it at a local store.
Later I saw it for a lower price but overall I am happy with the art kit
as my college student grand daughter has just decided she likes art. This is a good way for her to practice.
