I had never heard of webkinz till late '07.We moved just before the start of the 07-08 school year and several of the kids there had webkinz.So of course my kids had to have one too.Well, they are really cool and a great learning tool.They come with a secret code and you register it online at webkinz world.You get to name it and print an adoption certificate.Online they do things to collect "kinzcash" they get to purchase things for their pet's room.They also have to feed it.If they dont it gets sick and it has to see the doctor.I just think they r great.It helps the kids understand there are needs that come before what they want.

This Webkinz is very soft, but isn't very cute. It looks cute in the picture, but not in person. Plus, it isn't cute on the site either. But, the site ROCKS! It is sooooo fun!

I bought this toy for my dog along with the pink poodle.
She is a red toy poodle and HARDLY Plays with anything I bought both of these toys at our local store got the matching thread took out the beans and added stuffing. I gave it to my dog. My dog has NEVER played in her ENTIRE LIFE I started wiggling it in her face she took the toy and started running with it.
These are great for dogs that do not play don't give it to a dog who likes to rip and chew I recommend supervision.
But this is a great product:)

The Webkinz stuffed animal itself is pretty typical -- cute and soft -- what is great is the website that goes along with it. My daughter is engaged and learning new things from the site. It's very creative!

My boys are 4 and 6. When my 6 year old was the proverbial "only kid in the entire class who doesn't have a webkinz" we caved and got the polar bear. I have to say we were very impressed with the cuteness of the website and the variety of games available. It's a really cute concept. Of course my four year old soon realized he wanted one too so recently we purchased this koala for his birthday. The kids are loving it but it is easy to get sucked into the webkinz world and spend all day on the computer without parental guidance. It is the kids' new favorite thing to do and as long as they arent' sitting there all day I think it's a great interactive site for them to have some down time.
