video journal Posted 05 May 2008 My 11 year old received this for a birthday gift from a friend, who said she uses hers all the time I was not really excited because my daughter doesnt spend alot of time on the computer, she would rather be outside and active. But the first day she got it we had a blast, first taking the photos then putting the journal together, i helped her get it all downloaded etc, but afther that she was on her own...it is a really cool gift for about the 10-11 year old range
I dont know about younger children and olders children might like something a little better quality but for 10-11 year olds its perfect
My girls love them!! Posted 13 February 2008 I purchased one for each of my girls (9 &10). They just love being able to create their own journals with pictures of their friends. All and all I would say it is an ok first digital camera. I also had some problems with one of them and it was quickly replaced by Amazon. That is excelent costomer service.
Lousy Camera, OK Software. Posted 27 January 2008 my daughter was happy at first few days after receiving this as a gift. But she stopped using it citing the low quality photos and videos the camera take. Also the memory is too small - just 8 photos then it is full.
