Our Editorial Review
Editorial Review The innovative Tyco TMH Flexpak system features a unique, flexible design that allows it to be used in a variety of Tyco radio-controlled TMH vehicles (it is not compatible with other 6.0-volt or 9.6-volt ni-cad battery-powered vehicles). The charger plugs into any standard 110/120-volt outlet and can fully charge a Flexpak in just 4 hours. As with all rechargeable batteries, run time will vary greatly with power usage and speed of vehicle, but Tyco's TMH system offers more power and up to twice the running time of comparable ni-cad battery packs. Comes with a 90-day limited warranty. --Jerry McCulley

It gives you up to twice the running time, faster speeds and a unique Flexpak design. Charge before using and read complete instructions enclosed. Rechargeable up to 1,000 times.

Expensive battery pack and doesn't hold charge long Posted 15 January 2007 We purchased a Tyco RF controlled vehicle only to find out after we had given it as a present that it required this separate battery pack. Guess that the packaging does say so in the fine print but didn't realize it at the time. This battery pack and charger were a third again the cost of the toy. It takes several hours to fully charge then doesn't last very long so needs to be recharged often. Since the battery runs out often, the kids loose interest or end up playing with toy manually, just pushing it around. I'm sure it will break shortly because of this and toy/battery/charger will end up in garbage shortly.
Great battery Posted 12 July 2006 To all complainers: Its your fault you didn't read the big label that says: TMH flexpack is required.
Don't missjudge this battery pack, its very useful. It has saved lots of money in my family. Don't be stupid, read all the labels before you purchase anything!
look online for batteries Posted 27 February 2006 We have had the same problem as everyone else, but the toy itself is fun. I am sure there is more than one source, but a website [...] has flexpak batteries at a good price and without the charger.
