My nephews LOVED it! Posted 11 January 2007 This game is a great gift idea. I purchased it for my two nephews (ages 9 and 6) who have enjoyed playing it several times since then. Maybe its because they are boys and as we all know, boys love to talk about "gross stuff" but my sister-in-law has even commented about how they've applied what they've learned from the game into everyday conversations. They now think that science is cool. Imagine that! I highly recommend this game.
Your kids will laugh hysterically Posted 10 January 2007 This game is great and well, gross. It's a great game for family game night. Your kids will learn about science in a fun way and they don't stop laughing. Example, How many ounces of air is in a fart? You get the idea.
Totally Educational Posted 09 January 2007 While I was reluctant to purchase a game glorifying grossness--I'm glad I did. Not only is the game very high-quality and well made, the facts that children (and adults) are learning along the way are a fantastic science primer. Off the top of my head, I can think of one such fact--that cows and sheep burp methane gas which is harmful to the environment. I highly recommend this game--my children are 11 and 8, the questions are such that there is an advanced, medium and beginner level on each card. That way, you can have various ages playing together with each being challenged but not discouraged.
Gross is a learning axperience Posted 09 January 2007 This games is a fun experience but played with boys the "goo" becomes quite a distraction!!! Some of the facts are "gross" but never too bazzar but definitely enlighten you. The younger children get a little bored but if you can keep the goo from poeples hands the game moves along well.
