Our Editorial Review
Product Description This adorable little elephant doubles as an electronic ball game and stacking game, too. The vibrant colors, engaging sounds and different textures of the stacking rings will intrigue Baby's curiosity and provide motor stimulation through several stages of his or her development. Drop the ball through the top of the elephant, and watch it shoot out an escape door at the bottom. Trigger flashing lights and four different songs with the motion of the included balls. There's even a stimulating crinkling sound that occurs if you gently pinch the elephant's ears. Includes four colorful balls and four soft, cloth-covered rings to stack and build the elephant. Requires 3 "AA" batteries (included).

Great all around toy! Posted 14 January 2007 We use this so many ways! She loves to play with the elephant sometimes, the balls on her high chair tray, the rings. Just great. She can play with it as intended all together or use all the parts other ways.
Well thought out. Highly recommended.
the best infant/toddler toy we've ever bought! Posted 04 January 2007 I purchased this toy for my first son when he was 7 months old; between 9-24 months, he played with it relentlessly. He is now three, and still plays with it once in awhile. Since we lost most of the balls, we purchased the toy again for our second son, who is now 15 months. We have only one set of balls, but two funnels, and both boys play with this toy constantly.
If I had to pick just one toy for the 9-18 month old infant/toddler stage, this would be THE one. It helps develop hand/eye coordination, spatial awareness, and cause/effect awareness. The sounds are not too annoying (as toys go), and the details are well thought out (the little door is sloped just right so that the ball rolls out automatically). It's also incredibly well-designed and durable. My kids didn't use the stacking feature at all - just the ball-dropping portion.
My only complaint is that I'd like to purchase an extra set of balls separately!
After seeing my boys play with theirs, my sister stockpiles these in her closet to use as future baby gifts.
The best toy we received as a gift! Posted 06 December 2006 This toy is the most versatile gift our little girl has received! There are plush links and rings, balls that rattle when shaken, music that plays when the balls are dropped into the "bong" (as my husband calls it), and so many different uses for all of these components. Our daughter, who just turned one, has been playing with this since she was five months old. Then, she really only was able to pick up the links and rings and shake the balls. Later, she started using the links and rings as hats with her Grammy, pulling them off of Grammy's head and later attempting to put a "hat" on herself. She has since banged the balls together, holding one in each hand, figured out how to carry the rings on her wrists, taught herself how to open the Velcro on the links, and now she's dropping the balls into the bong all by herself. This was sent by one of my husband's friends- unmarried and without children- and I applaud him or whomever gave him the recommendation to purchase this wonderful learning tool for our little girl. Go get one for your little one!
unusual and versatile Posted 05 July 2006 My son, at about 6 months old, loves this toy. Even though he is not into stacking the soft rings, or dropping the balls into the center of the toy, he loves to play with the rattling balls (rolling them and picking them up) and chew on the rings. It is nice to be able to turn off the music for now. This toy is unusual-looking, but definitely captures my son's attention!
great early present! Posted 10 May 2006 this is a great multi purpose toy. the balls alone are great, they make noise when baby shakes them. the rings also are fun to play with alone. put it all together and baby will really enjoy his time with this wacky looking ring toy. highly recommended!
