We had this product for 4 years before it finally gave out. Just ordered 2 more and they are as fun as ever. Giant bubbles. Especially great if you use miracle bubble solution w/it. A must buy!!

My 3 year old daughter and I have no problem making good size bubbles with this wand. The design is nice, it snap back easily for storage and the color is nice. However, after using it twice, the plastic hoop at the snapping piece and the stick is twisted. This makes the hoop to be wailing back and forth even though it was snap in place. It makes the wand impossible to make bubble by waving. My daughter was frustrated. I eventually went with some cheap plactic wands that do not have the fancy mechanism and they are extremely durable with many abusive use from a little child. I don't recommend this wand.

I've read the other reviews...as I was skimming the website to order another of these wands. Guess you folks had a bad batch of wands, because my son is crazy about his. We gave it to him shortly after his 2nd birthday, and it's one of his favorite toys! Yes, it is messy...it's a giant bubble wand...when was the last time you played bubbles that there wasn't a mess? But if you keep it out doors, I don't see the problem. My son was able to make bubbles right away (something he wasn't able to do with smaller wands since he can't seem to blow (he sucks air in instead of out). His father and I played for over an hour with this wand...taking turns making the bubbles and letting him pop them (and vice versa). I don't know why the other folks had some difficulty...but I would highly recommend this toy for a 2-3 year old.

GO with the Gazillon products... they work better and easier clean up too. This dripped like crazy and made BIG mess.

I found the toy to be a waste of money. My daughter is 4 years old and loves to play with bubbles. It was difficult for her and also myself and her grandmother. We all gave it a shot and we failed to make bubbles. Now it lays outside and she never played with it again.
