Lots of fun! Posted 17 February 2007 I bought this for my son when he was 8 months, and he still plays with it at 15 months. It's available to play with everyday, and everyday he plays with it. It didn't take him long at all to figure out how to put the blocks down the shutes, and he soon started putting his other toys through the farmhouse too! They are so creative! Aside from the first week in which I was demonstrating where to put the blocks, he pretty much plays with it on his own.
excellent toy! Posted 12 February 2007 My 9 month old twins love this! The music is fun (and you can adjust the volume to high or low), and although they can't quite get the blocks in the holes yet, they love pushing on the doors to make the music go. Two of the blocks rattle and the texture is perfect for teething. A real favorite since Santa delivered this at Christmas; two months later of daily play, they are still intrigued.
My twins love it! Posted 07 February 2007 This toy was a great find, especially for $10, but I would recommend it for any infant learning to sit and play with toys. It sings "Old McDonald" every time a block is inserted into the holes which gets my 9 mo. old twins dancing. I love the peek-a-blocks that come with it, too!
May Require Much Parent Involvement Posted 24 January 2007 Don't buy this as a toy babies can play with on their own. I bought this for my 8 month old based on Amazon's recommendations for her age. She enjoys the blocks that come with the farm more than the farmhouse itself. (Not too surprising considering she is 8 months old!) She can't put the blocks into the holes yet, but is catching on to the fact that she can move the doors to make the music play. I hope this is a toy that she grows into. I like that this has a volume control and the songs and noises are cute.
Bought this for a friend's child Posted 18 January 2007 I've heard no complaints from either one, it's a hit.
