Not Designed With Every Child In Mind Posted 23 June 2008
I actually bought this board for myself as an adult with A.D.D.
I do not recommend it for children or adults. It does not come with enough blank magnets, and the pre printed ones are not for every child.
Not every child goes to dance practice or is in the cub scouts. Also, there are only five magnets for teeth brushing which would indicate to a child that you only need to brush your teeth for five days, which negates the purpose of a daily chore board to learn responsibility.
Also, the marker does not work well, and it does not hang on the wall very well.

This has been a wonderful product! It comes with pre-printed magnets that have certain chores (like picking up their room) and behavioral aspects (like no fighting) on them. You can give your child a magnet with various praises and pictures on it as they accomplish each chore or behavioral variation each day. It also comes with blank magnets that you can write your own duties on. It has really been an awesome reminder for my two kids of what they should be working toward in a day. We still use it even though it is almost unnecessary it's worked so well! They feel really accomplished when they get to put magnets next to their list every evening.
