Our Editorial Review
Product Description If you are sure that kiting is for you and you want to learn on the best possible kite, the Prism Quantum is tailor-made for you. The Spectra line is the best in the business and the full carbon frame will be very forgiving in a crash. The seven foot wingspan will pull against you hard in heavy winds to give you a rush, but the Quantum is light enough to be handled in a light breeze. The impressive range of winds this kite can fly in make it a great kite for first time flyers and also means this is a kite you'll never outgrow.

Prism Quantum Review Posted 29 June 2008 Fun to fly, good lines, strong kite, takes a bashing and keeps on thrashing. Stunts OK. Very easy to fly. Good for a beginner.
Great Kite + Great Price = Prism Quantum Posted 13 June 2008 I received this kite promptly (as I usually do from Amazon), and I am amazed. The quality of this kite is next to none. The sail material is fantastic, the bridles are ultra strong, and the overall package is great. Prism Kites never ceases to amaze me with their product quality and reliability. Great product.
Excellent Beginner Kite, Great For All Levels Posted 14 October 2007 I don't know why Amazon lists this in toys, this kite is the real thing.
I'd been fooling around with another two line stunt kite for a while, but it was way to twitchy to learn on. Very frustrating. Then I got this kite and in one session, I had very good control and a lot of confidence built up. The full size of this kite gives the beginner a lot of feed back through pull, but the pull is never intimidating. If you are beyond the basic beginner stages, this kite will do some nice tricks.
As a beginner, this kite is capable of withstanding all the freestyle landings you can dream up. Despite the ruggedness of the design, this kit is fairly light and assembly is pretty goof proof. The supplied line is top quality and the traveling bag is very convenient.
No doubt there are better kites out there, but look at the price difference! If you want to get into two line kite flying and get your money's worth, this is the one to start with. If you are a seasoned flier, this will make a nice addition to your collection without breaking your budget.
Prism Kite Posted 08 June 2007 This is a great kite for people to learn how to use stunt kites. The only bad thing is that the line that comes with it is very weak and will break under strong winds. The result could mean damage to the kite when it crashes. Otherwise it's alot of fun.
Lots of Fun! Posted 10 April 2007 This kite is very fun to fly. It's well constructed, fairly easy to put together and easy to fly. If you set the bridle to its challenging settings it responds very fast. It needs a decent wind to fly - more like 5 - 6 mph rather than the 3 mph advertised, but it pulls strongly in a moderate wind and will give you a very good workout.
The only negative I experienced is with the line that is included. It is only sleeved at one end and a strong gust of wind will cause it to break at the end that is not sleeved. I suggest sleeving the other end or buying pre-sleeved line before you fly it.
