Wonderful toy Posted 19 September 2008 My two year old has this doll and she loves that it sings. Luciana doll sings her small part from "Love is for Peasants," which is a beautiful piece, comes with her cat Pearl, and has one bendable arm. Her shoes and crown do not stay on at all and glitter falls off every where, but its so cute to watch my daughter twirl around that it's all worth it. Definitely recommend.
Luciana doll Posted 17 April 2008 My daughter loves this Barbie. It goes with her other Barbie's from the Island Princess movie. The dress is holding up well, although her shoes don't stay on very well at all. They were lost the day after we opened the box. She sings a song when you push her necklace, but unlike the Island Princess Barbie, Luciana only sings one song. Overall we've been very pleased with this purchase. The shipping was very fast from our seller.
Sweet friend Posted 23 December 2007 This doll is a lovely addition to the Barbie Island Princess collection. Her dress, appearance, and song are equal in quality to the Princess Rosella doll. My 3 yr old daughter loves to make them all interact with each other, just like in the movie.
My daughter loves her! Posted 20 October 2007 My daughter just received this Barbie and loves her. She has a beautiful voice and dress. Her hair is kind of a light brown, unlike the medium brown in the movie but my 5 year old daughter didn't seem to notice or care at all. She snuggled with her on her pillow the first few nights and giving her kisses. What more can I say? She's a hit!
A Pretty Doll, But Her Hair Isn't Red Posted 27 September 2007 I bought this doll because she's pretty. However, since her hair color doesn't match the Luciana in the movie, I returned it. This doll seems to have a little red in her hair, but it definitely doesn't match the redness of Luciana's hair in the movie. I don't understand why Mattel didn't try to match her hair color. I'd be happy to have one who looked more like the girl in the movie.
