I adore this game. I liked the first one also, but this one is even better. There are more colors of Pikmin than before. It's even educational as you must strategize your use of Pikmin to help collect items. This is one of those slighltly indescribable Japanese games like katamari.

Yes I have played this game, and never beat Pikmin 1 since it was to dang hard. The game was pretty fun with adding in whites and purples(go purples!) but there is downside with sacrifice for the new ones. I also hate how the dang ship talks to much. It's very annoying collecting all 10000 pokos to pay off the debt!

I hate at the end how you are flying back all happy with enough pokos and find out LOUIE IS GONE! You go back to Hocotate and stupid fat Mr. President comes, and the greedy hog wants MORE MONEY! It was his stupid fault they went in debt! NOW you need to collect 201(201!??!) treasures(I only had 101 to pay off my debt) AND find Louie! I never got all the treasure, or found Louie (IF YOU DID, TELL ME WHERE HE IS!!!)

Pikmin 2 picks up after Pikmin 1. Olimar is returning with his friend to collect valuable "treasures" which happen to be everyday objects, but since they are only a few inches tall, everything is large. This game uses the old Red (fire resistant), Yellow (electric resistant), and Blue (water resistant) Pikmin adding white (poison resistant and treasure detector) and Purple (worth 10 regular Pikmin). It also enhances the classic play with two player challenges much like the original game where players work together to reach the end of a level within a specific time, while collecting the most treasure.
While some argue that this is the better of the two Pikmin games, I believe that each stand on their own as creative and unique games that provide a different perspective on on not only everyday items but also gaming.

This game is the best Pikmin game ever!!!!!!!! But, the oly things that are bad about it are the pikmin don't stop talking ad it gets really anoing. secondly the new pikmin that htey add
(white and purple) have to stay in the ship ad the only way they can recoloize is to go into caves... WHAT FUN IS THAT???
and thirdly there isn't a good place to go to recolonize, for example... In the first game if you hade a few days you could go back to the impact site and get more pikmin, and possibly get AT LEAST 100 MORE PIKMIN in this game you can't do that. you just get pikmin as you go along, and that's not fun. but all in all it's a good game. And if your a person who doesn't get anoied easily then get it it's worth the money. but remember to get the first one first!!!!!

interisting. great graphics and gameplay. I like the new pikmin in the game. Great for the adventerist one's ho liked to kick but along the way. Not for NONFUN PEOPLE.
