The balls are simple to use: just pour them into the play pit, add the children, and stir for many hours of fun. They make a huge mess when the kids throw them all over, but they always clean up and have been the joy of many playtimes in the afternoon. Before we had anything to put them in, we used a cardboard box, which the two year old loved! Then we used them in the play-pen, another big hit! Then we got the jump-o-lene and they have been in there ever since. A solid year of entertainment for all 3 of my children! Not a single one has been lost or broken. Very soft plastic so they just pop back out if they get a dent in them, and non-painful if stepped on. Couldn't be happier with these!
