Our Editorial Review
Product Description The Nursery Rhymes CD Player is a take-along infant learning toy that teaches your little one nursery rhymes, first words, animal names and sounds. Your baby simply presses the center button to send the CD spinning around while the three colored lights dance. When it stops on one of five animals, it sings an appropriate nursery rhyme. Your little learner can then press the three lighted buttons on top to hear the animal name, the sound and hear the nursery rhyme again. Also comes with bangle beads on the side for additional play. Requires 3 "AA" batteries (included).

Both of my kids love this toy Posted 21 May 2008 I bought this toy for my son and he has loved playing with it since he was about 7 months old. (He is now 11 months.) The button to make the songs play is large enough for him to use and he loves to watch the dial spin and the lights on top. So far, it has proved durable as he also likes to grab the handle and bang it on our tile floor. As a bonus, the songs are not too annoying for the parents and my three-year-old daughter likes to play with the toy with her brother.
Great toy, just make sure it works. Posted 02 May 2008 My daughter received this for Christmas. It was a really cute toy but we had to take it back because everytime it landed on the dog, it would say "the cow says Moo". I didn't exactly want to teach my daughter that, so we tried to exchanged it and every one in the store did the same thing. So, my suggestion would be to make sure that the one you get says the right things. Other than that, I think it would be a great toy. We ended up getting a traditional see and say instead.
Durable,my 8 month old grandson loves it! Posted 12 January 2008 This is a great product for 6 mo. old on up to 2 or so.My 8 month old grandson really liked it.Plus it's educational and has lights that play with the music and animal sounds.Great toy!
Great for even really young babys Posted 14 December 2007 I got this as a gift and showed it to my daughter when she was two months old. She LOVED it, by three months old she was already trying to push the button herself. by 5 months old she still LOVED it, and I mean loved it. It lasted up to about 9 months before before it started to break. The little spinner stopped spinning and would have to be spun manually to change the song choose. (to fix it you need a soldering iron) shes 11 months old now and she still likes to play with it time to time. dispite it being half broken. The toy rings on the side of it are pretty useless but the toy itself is so worth buying. Just dont let your little one throw it around alot like I made the mistake of letting mine do.
For younger kids Posted 12 December 2007 I wouldn't go so far as to say that kids 36 months old will still enjoy this toy. I would put the ranges 6-18 months on it. It is cute and my son enjoyed the music and spinning but outgrew it fast.
