Product Description This 6 ft. long tunnel has 4 mesh side view windows, and a front mesh window. A zippered front closes one end of this tunnel for added realism. Images are all there to help put out that fire, ladder, dials, hatchet. These tunnels promote the use of a child's imagination while helping develop motor skills and muscle strength. This fire Engine can be connected to our Fire House Tent (item#30625) sold separately. Tunnels fold down flat for easy storage.

Fun toy for my son, and he likes to sleep in it!  Posted 16 May 2007
I bought this originally not as a toy but as a place my 3yr old son could sleep when we travel because he doesn't like to sleep in the same room as we do. When we stay with friends or hotel, space is limited so I couldn't buy a large play tent for him to sleep in so this was my alternative. It gives him the feeling he is in another room because he can't see us, yet it is small enough to fit in wherever we are staying.
One side zips closed, one side is open but has a velco flap all the way around to attach to the main tent if you buy that extra. It also has a few mesh windows for some ventilation.
The bonus is that he also likes to play in it too. And it is pretty durable it hasn't lost it's shape yet even after many hours of sleeping and playing in it.
It is pretty snug in there, though I can squeeze in it and out the other end successfully without getting stuck. For my son though it is pretty roomy. He can't quite sit upright, but he can crawl easily through.

My grandkids love this toy. They were forever making tunnels from blankets and little brother caved them in. They take this with them to cousins homes to play. It is so easy to take along. It stands up to a group of very busy toddlers and pre-schoolers.

My 2 year old got this for his birthday & loves crawling through it really fast...and making me try to get in too! Keeps him occupied for hours. He's getting the Firehouse tent for Christmas that goes with it, so hopefully that's just as fun!
