Our four year old Jack can do it,,,, Posted 30 July 2008 I was a little worried that this puzzle was a going to be to advanced for a four year old but once he got the boarder finished, he was on a roll. Great puzzle, beautiful colors !!
Two boys' review: Share the treasure with this floor puzzle Posted 14 July 2008 Melissa and Doug floor puzzles are very popular in our household. This particular puzzle, on the heels of the "Pirates of the Caribbean" trilogy, is one of their favorites.
We have two children, both younger than 6-years old, and highly recommend this puzzle for kids of the same age. The pieces are easy for young children to handle and the puzzle is very durable after repeated uses.
Lots of Fun! Posted 06 July 2008 I bought three of these puzzles for my three year old son. He absolutely loves them. The pieces are a great size and the picture has a lot going on. This was a great purchase.
Durable Fun Puzzles Posted 02 December 2007 You just can't go wrong with a Melissa and Doug puzzle. The durability of these puzzles is far beyond what you will get with other brands. My 5 yr old son has several, like this one, that he has assembled time and time again since he was only 2. The exterior box will be flattened, worn, and retaped a thousand times, but the puzzle still looks new.
Preschool Pirates Posted 20 September 2007 This puzzle was/is an excellent "challenge" activity, for a small group of youngsters. The bold, colorful graphics appeal to preschoolers.
Young students learn to work as a team to solve the puzzle. Kindergardeners like to find the pieces (hidden around the room) and count ( 10 piles of 10 = 100 ), before assembly begins.
It truly is a treasure!!! - S.K.Smith
