Childrens chalk board Posted 22 September 2008 I bought this chalk board for a 2 1/2 yr old. It is very durable and he loves it. He loves to draw and erase and redraw. He also likes to play with the letters and name them. This is a great educational toy as it helps him learn his numbers and letters.
lost manetic after a couple of months Posted 30 May 2008 1. I thought it is a good educational toys, but unfortunately my daughter does not have much interest in it.
So if you want your kids to learn to draw on a white board, better directly go to a large easel board intead of a tiny one.
2. the letters do not hold on the white board anymore after a couple of months. I guess the magnet wear out?
The colorful letter do look cute. I hope later I could use those letters in other way to teach her to spell it.
Magnetic Board Posted 12 January 2008 The board has been a pleasant addition to my grandson's learning. He enjoys using the magnetic shapes on the board, and learning the numbers and letters in a fun and creative manner. I recommend the board highly.
An Education Tool with Lots of Possibilities Posted 13 August 2007 My daughter enjoys chalk drawings on this side and the dry erase board is great. We have used a variety of bright education letters and numbers to help with learning. The bright colors is an excellent addition to her room.
Jumping start your pre schoolers learning. Posted 10 June 2007 I love this item but I have to agree with other reviewers.
I would have like to see a bit more thought put into it. I think it should come with a set of colored dry erase markers that would be a big plus and some more chalk (that was gone in a few minutes). However, I did mount this board in my child play room and low enough so she can get it up and down her self and she has taken to using while hanging on the wall. If would want to do this please use a picture hanging kit and you don't have an exposed nail for a little one to get hurt on.
I will also say the letters and numbers are great but on the board they need more space so if you want something for your frig too get this one.
