Our Editorial Review
Product Description Oversized big interlocking blocks for small hands come in assorted primary colors. All pieces are made of smooth, durable plastic. Includes 80 pieces plus a see-through storage bag that zips up and has a carrying handle.
Editorial Review These locking Lego-like blocks are the classic sort of toy that kids will play with every day and that will offer endless creative possibilities. Ideal for entry-level builders, these blocks are made of lightweight plastic that can't do too much damage if thrown and are jumbo-sized so as not to pose a choking hazard. The set includes 80 blocks of varying shapes, including a peaked rooftop and several knobs or wheels. The blocks come in bright primary colors that toddlers will find visually stimulating. In addition to inspiring creativity through play, these blocks are a valuable tool for improving fine motor skills, coordination, and manual dexterity. The set comes in a convenient clear plastic storage bag that keeps blocks contained. --Cristina Vaamonde

Kids like it and spend a lot of time. Posted 13 May 2007 Kids like it. They spend hours to build blocks.
Durable, water-proof, cost effective, versatile - A great gift idea!! Posted 05 January 2007 My daughters, 3 and 8 have played with this for 2 years everywhere, inside, outside and in the shower. Very versatile, very worth the money. All the kids play with them when the come over. A surefire hit!! We added these to our Mega Blocks Wagon which is a great storage place and makes it so easy to clean up in large areas.
Good for little hands Posted 03 August 2006 These blocks are great for younger kids learning fine motor control. Our kids (2.5 years and 16 months) love playing with them, and like most block type toys, mostly enjoy building towers and then knocking them down. The only complaint I have with the item is that the bag they come in seems rather small, and has now ripped from our repeated attempts to fit all the blocks back inside. Consider getting another type of container to hold the blocks; a larger bag or tub of some sort would do nicely.
Mega blocks - these are great! Posted 27 April 2006 These are great blocks for a small infant-to-toddler child to use to discover how to stack and build with Lego-style blocks. I agree that this set has a few odd pieces -- the train and the two "eyeball" end pieces are kind of just distractions -- but overall this is a great set of toy blocks. I was looking online to get a second set.
I actually think that the ease with which they come apart (noted in another review) is a big plus: a small child doesn't want necessarily something permanent and indestructible, instead they may want something that they can tear down and play with over and over... the easier the better. It's not like the things you build with these blocks just falls apart... it's just that they can be dismantled easily, which is good for little people with small, weak hands. Remember how tightly those Legos you played with as a kid stuck together? How's a one- or a two-year old supposed to do anything with those? I'd say get the Legos when they are older... these are great for now!
Lots of fun for little ones! Posted 11 February 2006 My 18 month daughter loves these blocks. She carries the bag around the house saying blocks over and over again until I unzip the bag for her to play. She loves building the tower and just making a mass of blocks. We both, my daughter and I, would recommend this set.
