Great toy but way less through Little Tikes Posted 23 November 2008 I am disapointed at the price Amazon allows this to sell for concidering it at a 100% mark-up.... Usually prices are comparable but not with this item.. Sorry Amazon
Great toy! Posted 26 October 2008 We bought this for my son last year when he was 4. He loves this toy and the realistic toys! Its lasted us and still looks new! We also did not know about the light battery so on x-mas morning no batteries for it! I am happy with this product though:)
My Son Loves This Toy! Posted 10 September 2008 My Parents bought this for my eldest sons second birthday. he LOVES the tools and he loves being just like daddy when Daddy does something around the house. it was easy to assemble and I have a lot of fun playing it with him. he loves to race the bonus car around the house saying "VROOM VROOM" at the top of his lungs. this is the PERFECT toy. he gets frustrated with the screws sometimes but he'll get it eventually. he loves the power drill that comes with it as well and has cause us to have to rewind movies or tv shows we've been watching cause he insists in using the drill right in front of the TV. All in all it's a GREAT buy!
The best purchase I've ever made! Posted 16 July 2008 I bought this for my 3 year old son, HOPING it would occupy some time... He has been playing with it for 4 days straight!! He's a brute, and not yet has any of the peices broke! He's taken apart the car and rebuilt it tons of times, sands the pieces, it's been a lifesafer for me, I've got more done in the last few days than in the last 3 years...
The best workbench out there!!!
My daughter's favorite toy for over a year now Posted 13 July 2008 My daughter received this toy when she was about 2 1/2. She just turned 4 and still plays with it frequently. The tools make realistic sounds and act like real tools. She uses the grinder to "sharpen" all my plastic and butter knives, puts the car engine and separate little car together and takes it apart again, and takes great pride in explaining to adults how to reverse the power drill and ratchet wrench. It is a great height, and has a small enough footprint that it doesn't take up her entire bedroom. And after all that play, none of the pieces have broken.
My one complaint: it requires, but DOES NOT INCLUDE, 9 AAA and 3 button cell (AG13) batteries. Fortunately, I had them ready to hand. I suggest if you give this as a gift, include the batteries. Button cells can cost a couple of bucks each at the hardware store, but you can get a 50-pack of button cells here at Amazon for $[...].50 of AG13/357A Alkaline Button Cell Watch Battery
