Our Editorial Review
Product Description This inflatable jumper from Little Tikes is huge, measuring 9 x 12 x 6 ft! It is an absolutely perfect choice for birthday parties, barbecues or other family functions. The Little Tikes Inflatable Jump N Slide is one of the safest bouncers around as it features tall protective walls which surround a large jumping area, including a big slide with side rails. Two mesh doors feature hook and loop closures which help protect children and allow parents to watch all the fun with the bouncer from Little Tikes. Made of puncture resistant material, the Little Tikes Inflatable Jump N Slide includes everything needed for assembly including stakes, storage bag and heavy duty blower with GFCI.

Good but has limits Posted 05 September 2008 I purchased this toy in 2006 for my son's 5th birthday. It was an instant hit and all the neighborhood kids wanted to come over and use the jumpy. I learned a few hard lessons right away. 1. No matter how old the kids are limit the number of kids in the jumpy to 4 or they crack heads and someone gets trampled due to the size of the floor (mixing ages too much has the same effect). 2. Don't let the kids use the back door if you can help it-I had children get caught up in the net and fall on their heads-no cushion back there-they also fell out backwards from there-I learned to always put cushions around the back and I was tempted to try and sew it up several times-the fragility of the net stopped me. 3. Bigger kids-6+ are tall enough to reach the top of the walls and pull them down-and they do. This is hard on the jumpy and creates problems with safety as well. 4. The net rips first. Gets runs like nylon stockings even though we were careful to never let kids take sharp objects in. Once it goes little arms can get stuck in it. 5. That darn back door goes next. The arch over it developed a hole there the size of my fist at the seam. I have to say that it received 2 years of very hard use prior to this-both indoors and out. 6. Little ones (under 2 years) have trouble climbing up the front slide. The manufacturer recommends ages 3-6 I believe. That's probably about right but when you have a group ages 6 months to 9 years good luck telling half of them they can't play. I am looking for another bouncy now for my second son (turning 3). I won't get this one again simply because I am going to look for one with sturdier netting, no back door, and higher side walls. Let me say again though that we really used this. The kids had it up every weekend during the winter-in the basement. Parties always centered around it, neighbors asked for it at every event at their houses, etc. If you don't anticipate this kind of use-if you have mostly younger girls playing indoors a couple times a month for instance-you can probably expect a very different experience with durability.
Kids love it - easy to set up & take down Posted 04 September 2008 It's bigger than you would expect.
Pros:
- Nice carrying case (but pretty large)
- Blower is quiet
- Easy to set up and take down
Cons:
- Only supports 2-3 kids at a time w/250 lb max.
- Minor air leaks
Overall, this is a great value and our kids love playing in it. Well worth the $200 price.
poor durability Posted 01 September 2008 We purchased a Little Tikes bouncer and used it only 5 times. The seam on the slide split apart, so we called Little Tikes expecting some sort of solution to our problem, because it came with a 1 year warranty card. We were told that "there's nothing we can do because that only covers the blower and the warranty on the bouncer is only good for 90 days." So, no matter how much money you spend or how many times you use it, 'there's nothing they can do.' It's very disappointing that a big company like Little Tikes doesn't stand behind products that are manufactured poorly.
Help Posted 15 August 2008 Little Tikes Jump & Slide Bouncer We purchased this toy for Camp Gramp and our 2, 3, and 5 year old grandchildren love it. They bounced endlessly.
Unfortunately, so did our son-in-law. He went down the slide head first with a belt buckle and put slices in the slide. The repair kit had a very small tube of glue, and the glue was not identified. I need to buy more for the long slice, but I don't know what to get and I can't find it. This is not the product fault. They specify that no sharp objects should be in the bouncer. Despite the tear, the kids played on it for 10 days without further damage. But I do need help with the repair. Does anyone know what kind of glue I should use?
Great fun for little ones! Posted 10 August 2008 We bought this bouncer on sale at Toys R Us for our child's birthday party. At the party we had 6 kids 5 and under using this toy. They had a blast. We've set it up 5 times total. Yesterday we had 6 kids in the bouncer again and it was tons of fun. The bouncer seems to be durable. I have noticed an air leak since the beginning (just the sound) but the item says that air leaks are normal. Plus, it is pretty obvious that the bouncer is not intended to be air tight - otherwise it would burst. We really have had only one issue - namely, my daughter's hair barrette got stuck to the netting and a small hole tore in the netting when we set her free. She had a french clip on - be aware of this possibility, although it was a freak thing. Otherwise, the kids love it. It is pretty easy to fold up and get in the bag. I am not a particularly strong woman and I can store it by myself even though it is a bit heavy. This is definitely a great toy to have and fun for when friends come over. We try to save it for special occasions.
