My friend recommended this toy. She said her 1.5 and 4.5 year old sons still played with it, and it was great for the little guys when learning to walk. She was so right. My son's other friends, both one, also have the toy and my son received it at 11 months. They all love this toy so much. At one boy's birthday party the toy had to be put away, all the kids were fighting over it. And within one week of receiving the toy, you could see the improvement with my son as far as walking. Plus he stands-up and pushes this toy on his own (it's really sturdy). With the adjustable wheel, horn, back-up and start-up sounds, the toy is really a gem and money well spent.

This truck is superb! We received it for my son's first birthday, 6 months ago and upon installation, we found a problem with the middle wheels not lining up and couldn't be properly installed. I took it back for a replacement and found the same problem. It was the same store though, so I'm making the assumption that they were from the same batch and just unlucky. I called Little Tikes and explained the problem. They took my information and put a request in to the warehouse to send me a replacement but to assemble it first. It took a very reasonable amount of time and the replacement came assembled with no problems. My 17 month old son LOVES this truck and still runs to it often as soon as he's up from sleeping. My 3 year old daughter plays with it as well and it's taken quite a bit of abuse.
I think this is a GREAT first or second ride-on toy for the little ones.
Oh and I shouldn't forget to mention that it does have some sounds through buttons on the steering wheel, but they're the most reasonable volume I've found on any toddler toy. Loud enough to be fun (and with two volume settings) but also quiet enough to not be obnoxious or overwhelming. Way to go Little Tikes, you're definitely at the top of my list!

My Son just got this yesterday for his 1st birthday and he's played with it pretty much non-stop. We've just left in the ride-on mode and he's thrilled with it. The 3 buttons for the noises are very easy to push so he's continually hitting them. It's really a great toy.

Fantastic! Easy operation from a truck to be pushed, ride-on with stearing and cool truck sounds from the three buttons on the stearing wheel, to a pull along wagon! The truck sound buttons work in all positions. My grandson adores this toy. Great pricing too! A MUST HAVE!
