Nice, but another table might be better Posted 09 October 2007 I bought this table when Amazon had it on sale for $15. It looks nice, and is durable because of the wood legs and table-top, but I'm glad I didn't pay more for it. It tipped over easily when my son first began using the activity table to pull himself up. Now that he's stronger, that's no longer a problem. My only other complaints are that the handle for turning the gears is not secured, and neither is the busy-beads bar. The handle comes off all the time and could be a choking hazard. The activity table is better without the busy-beads bar, because when it's attached the gears are too hard to turn. All-in-all, it's a pretty good toy...educational, sturdy, and entertaining...but there might be a better similar product on the market.
Solid little activity table Posted 10 June 2007 This table is pretty cool. It is well-constructed, though I was a bit surprised at how much plastic is on it. It's heavy and sturdy and I think difficult to tip over. The toys are interesting, though I think it's more appropriate for a slightly older toddler (18 months & over). The handle on the cog toy comes off easily, which has been frustrating for our daughter. Overall, this is a fun toy but not worth $100.
My Little Tike "Tylor" Posted 08 June 2007 I have watched my grandson play with this table for hours, it's very interesting to him how everything works...He tends to be ruff with his toys and this is still like new. It can take being climbed on and over. I'm very impressed with it's durablity.Keep up the good work Little Tikes..Sincerely a Pleased Nana
My 16 month old broke it in 1 day! Posted 08 June 2007 I bought this table for my 16 month old daughter. She has another table like it that she absolutely LOVES, so I thought this one would be great, too. It held her attention for about an hour before she cam running to me with the block part in pieces. She had broken it.. and now, even with it repaired, won't touch it anymore.
