Fun and Easy Posted 21 July 2008 This is a great game for quick and easy entertainment. Just bring out the dice and have an evening of fun. Play with kids or adult version with dollar bills. A big group is best. Cheap and easy fun.
Substitute for Coins Posted 09 July 2008 Not a great game for young children unless they are able to share well. The game moves quick and changes in an instant. Great party game, increase the excitement and substitute coins or bills.
Cheap and lots of fun Posted 01 July 2008 The LCR dice game game is an inexpensive game that will usually get played for hours before you put it away. My bother introduced our family to the game at a family cookout and we just had to purchase our own.
Most Fun Ever!! Posted 25 June 2008 This is such a simple game but it is so much fun to play that 10-12 of us play every month. We play ten rounds at $[...] each round. Everyone hosts an LCR party and all participants either bring an appetizer or dessert. It's a very cheap night out. We have tons of laughs and the game has become SO popular in my neighborhood that some people attend 2-3 LCR parties each month. It's much more fun with a minimum of eight people IMO. The more, the better. You can't go wrong with this game.
You can play this with normal dice... Posted 12 May 2008 As a bartender of many years I have played this time many a night at work before the evening rush. We play it with the standard Bar Dice Cup, and three normal dice.
Each person rolls one die for each dollar bill in front of them when it's their turn - up to a Max of 3 dice (if your pile is more than $3 the extra is safe).
Rolling a 1, 2, or 3 means you keep the corresponding bill. A 4 and you pass that bill to the person before you, 5 it goes into the pot, and 6 to the next person.
Once it's down to only one person w/ Money (money slowly goes into the pot with each 5 rolled) - then they must roll one last time for each bill. If all bills end up in the pot you re-anti and it starts over...
We've played this with both a $3 and a $5 anti, it doesn't really matter, but we still keep it to a Max of 3 dice per shake. A $5 anti is a little more fun as it's impossible to pass all of your bills on the first round.
This game is fun BECAUSE you're never totally out of it. You may not have any bills in front of you - but a 4 or a 6 could send one in your direction.
Because of the gambling aspect I do not recommend for the full age group they suggest, but for passing time at a bar it is a winner.
