Great toy so far. I have only owned this for 2 months. I am worried that the legs might not hold up and my other concern is that with all those legs it is a bit difficult to clean. The string is way too short for my son to pull the catepillar along. The only thing I do not like is that it only does short vowel sounds (no long vowel sounds), but I guess I am expecting a lot. We like to press letters consecutively to sound out words (i.e. go, mom, hi), but it was not really meant for that because it only does the short vowels. Other than a few complaints, the toy has lots of settings and is very fun and educational!

This one is a great toy for your infant to start off with. A great mix of options - colors, songs, alphabets, phonetics, nursery rhymes(music only)....the works.

Its a great educational toy and also provides some interactive play time for the kids.

I got this one on a toy sale for $6. Nothing beats that price. I should have got multiples of this one for gifts in fact. Too bad i missed that one.

My toddler loves toys that make noise and so he's naturally attracted to this one. He pushes the little legs and I'm sure i've heard him repeating some of the letters and sounds. I just wish I had bought this a few months ago when he turned 1. He grows out of toys so quickly, I wonder if this will become too simplistic for him soon.

My daughter recieved this toy for Christmas at the age of one. She likes pressing the buttons, mostly to hear the music at this point. I like that it has a volume control and in time it will be used to help teach my daughter her alphabet and how to sound out letters. I bought this at a very reasonable price on Amazon after paying full price for it as a gift a few years ago for a friend's child. Definitely a good, cute toy for your child and should help with learning, atleast according to friends who have owned this toy also. :)

I have read some of the reviews. This is not a toy for all parents or all children, but isn't it that way with most everything. This toy sings about 25 songs, says the alphabet, gives sounds and you can pull it. My seven month old granddaughter loved it. Yes it is too advanced, but we will take it out periodically. She listens to the sounds and the songs at this time. I don't think it is meant for an out and out giggle; and I think it is best played with an adult and child in a learning play session. A short one. I thought the value for the price at Christmas was unbelievable and with free shipping. Would recommend to anyone, especially quieter infant/toddlers who like to sit a little more and listen. There really are those; I have had the tornado children; this might not be for them.
