Amazon.com Product Description Recreating part of the opening scenes of Star Wars Episode XI: Return of the Jedi, the Jabba's Sail Barge play set lets Star Wars fans young and old lead a daring assault on the cruel Jabba to free Rebel heroes. This set comes with 781 pieces, as well as movie character minifigs of Princess Leia, Han Solo, R2-D2, Boba Fett, Lando Calrissian, Luke Skywalker, and a Gamorrean guard. The instruction booklet diagrams model construction in 48 steps with several intermediate routines along the way. Construction completes with not only Jaba's barge, but with a landing skiff and the dreaded Sarlacc pit (sorry, sand not included). The barge features a laser canon, a forward catapult, and drop sides for easy positioning of minifigs. The skiff has a retractable plank where Luke can begin the attack. Inside the box you'll find 14 parts bags, six bow pieces, two sails, 5 rail pieces, Jabba the Hut figure, and instruction booklet. Also included is an illustrated block inventory with part numbers, in case you ever need to re-order a replacement block. --Porter B. Hall

Birthday Present Posted 16 July 2007 My now (7) year old son wanted this set for the longest time. Waited to make sure he really wanted it and found great deal on Amazon, including free shipping. If you like Starwars this is a neat set to build. It can be buil tin (3) differant ships.
4-year-old loves Jabba the Hutt Posted 09 July 2007 Our 4-year-old has become a Star Wars fanatic, and especially loves Jabb the Hutt. He and I had hours of fun assembling the figures and sail barge. Some pieces are quite delicate, and after they fell apart a few times my son asked me to glue them (which I did). But otherwise, he has played with it every day (in the rough ways of a 4-year-old) and it has held up well.
Lots of fun Posted 28 June 2007 It tookl me 4 hours to build, but it was alot of fun. The instructions were simple and the characters are so cool, especially the Princess and Bobba Fett. It's everything I expected from a Lego toy....would definitely recommend.
LEGO Star Wars Jabba's Sail Barge Posted 25 May 2007 Is one of the better Lego Star Wars models. My 9 year son was so excited when he received it for his birthday. He is a Lego builder "expert" -- but this took him a good 4 to 6 hours to make over 2 days. This is fine with me -- as he stayed focused and followed the directions perfectly. The final built model did look fairly close to the actual picture on the box (for a change). The built model seemed sturdy and almost "attractive" enough to put on a special display in my son's bedroom.
LEGO JABBA'S SAIL BARGE review Posted 15 April 2007 Whenever I buy a LEGO set that's based on a T.V. show or movie, I check to see how many things are different between the LEGO set, and the actual model. In this set, there are very few differences. One of the differences though, is that the grey chinese-hat-looking pieces on the side of the Sail Barge and Desert Skiff should be brown, plus, there should be a little gun on the side railing of the Sail Barge. It was pretty expensive, but the set is awesommmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmme!!!!!!!!!!!
