bikini bottom Posted 21 May 2008 This product is of course lego, so the quality is there...I was a little surprised by how small some of the pieces actually were...since the age guideline is 7-12...A typical 7 year old would probably need guidance or assistance...Once the finished set was assembled, it was fun and interactive...The boat has one of the "pull back and let go" motors...lots of fun :)
Really Fun! Posted 08 May 2008 It's really fun! Coral street is pretty cool, and ever since Sponge Bobs' Pineapple and Squiddwaords Easter Island Head and Patricks Rock came back things have been really fun in Lego City since Coral Street has come back. Also, they have a new neighbor they thought they would never have -- his name, is Annacan Skywalker. Also on coral Street they have a jelly fish launcher, catcher, and net. Annacan Skywalker, Patrick Star, and SpongeBob Squarepants, can go jelly fishing someday. It's great fun!
Combine two loves. Posted 26 December 2007 Does your child love Sponge Bob? Does your child enjoy Legos? Then this product is for you. Challenging and fun to assemble and plenty of "action" features to play with once assembled. To quote my son, "It's fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Spongebob rises to the top... Posted 25 December 2007 Nine year old loves these legos. Eight year old loves these legos. Parents can show how to put together one item, for instance, the cage that holds the jellyfish and then the child can put together something else under supervision...then guess what? My two grandsons could put the other items together by themselves with little help. It takes some time, parents...but it is worth the child's expression when she or he can figure out how to put the stuff together. Has everything the child has seen on tv. Even shoots basketballs. Great...
Fun for a fan Posted 09 August 2007 The big Spongebob fan in our house is 6-years old and he loves this set. Of course, it was too difficult for him to assemble, however, his 10-year old brother enjoyed working on it, though the subject matter was of no interest to him. While the Legos themselves are practically indestructable the finished products are typically fragile. A Spongebob fan who can take care of his or her playthings will enjoy this set. A child who is hard on his or her toys would be better off with a general set of Legos that can be broken down and reassembled with minimal fuss.
