Our Editorial Review
Product Description One of the best and classic gift ideas at a price that won't break the bank! Here's a handy jar of classic "glow-in-the-dark" plastic stars ready to go. There are a total of 135 stars in two sizes plus some mounting putty (you may need additional adhesive based on past customer reviews). These stars even float for bathtime fun.
Customer Reviews
love the stars Posted 06 January 2009 these are great, you just need to get your own tacky stuff to put them on the ceiling or the wall. They are great and the kids loved them. worth the money.
DIM Posted 06 January 2009 These stars are pretty weak. They are very large so they are very noticeable during the day and when you turn out the lights they aren't very bright (and that's with a chandelier charge from the middle of the room!). I'd say they glow for all of 15 minutes. :P
I found that the adhesive worked well, but there wasn't enough of it. I ran out and had to use some tacky stuff from my daughter's wall mount Aquadoodle. Both of my kids got the stars in their stockings, but I still haven't put them up in my son's room, because I was disappointed. I'm surprised they have such a decent rating.
Not a full gift on its own Posted 06 January 2009 At my sister's request, I got this for my 4 year old nephew. He didn't seem to "get it" when he opened the gift, but she tells me that he loves having them all over his room. His slightly older brother got glow in the dark planets, and they've built a solar system in their room (which they use to play star wars). I think it is fun to have them up, but (in terms of opening a gift) I would get a little something else to go with it.
stars Posted 02 December 2008 There are some decently big ones and smaller stars. It's a little sad that it's only stars, but I bought it knowing that. As stated in other reviews, don't use the puddy thing they provide. I think 135 stars is enough, I dont need a million to light up my room at night.
Glow In the Dark Stars Posted 30 September 2008 My kids have always had stars on the ceiling in thier nursey. They love the ease of installing. Always a good value. No problem with installation, come with easy adhesive.
