Although this toy is way fun and durable for our son, it's a bit loud. It makes an obnoxious pop pop pop sound as it moves forward which can really get on ones nerves when it's being pushed all around the house all day long. I think we're going to find a way to disable that noise. Yikes!

I remember when Tonka trucks were big metal trucks that were only used for outside. Now they make this great plastic variety! This is a cute truck, seems to be well made and son enjoys playing with it from time to time. It also makes a noise as you push it along, which he finds interesting. Nice truck to have for your little guy.

This is a great truck. Even though our son is younger than the supposed age he has loved playing with it. It makes noises as you push it and the dump works wonderfully. We also appreciated not having to assemble anything.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my 2 year old nephew, and he loved it! He put all of his Matchbox cars in the back of it and drove them all over the house. Great gift for little boys!

I bought this for my 3 year old daughter who wanted a "big truck" from Santa. The price was right, the size was right, and the brand was right. I looked around at a lot of Tonka trucks, and other brands, but settled on this for a variety of reasons:
1) Plastic means no sharp edges to damage walls or furniture or my ten month old!
2) Big chunky parts, including boulders, are easy for small hands to hang on to
3) Lightweight and easy to tote from room to room
4) Wonderful opportunities for creative play. My daughter hauls everything she can find, has "built" things, and really enjoys this toy
The noise has not been an issue for our home. The truck does make noise but it is not really that bad. We have many other noisier toys in our home at the moment and this truck does not even compare. All in all it's a great toy and I am glad "Santa" heard my daughter's Christmas wish. I would recommend it for younger kids and graduate to bigger and more durable trucks as kids age. I doubt this one will last forever but it will do for the time being.
