In the Diaper Bag
Being a mom can be a challenge, but the Baby Alive doll comes with plenty of cool accessories to make parenting easier. The doll comes with a dress, diapers, feeding utensils, bottle, bib, four food packets, and other accessories. The roomy diaper bag has places to store the bowl, spoon, and bottle. Mom will be prepared for diaper changes, as this set also includes two extra doll diapers. Best of all, four AA batteries are provided to make this 16-inch baby come alive.

Incredibly Realistic
Originally introduced in 1973, Baby Alive has been re-born and is now even more like a real infant. Little girls love to take care of her and she is always ready to play, laugh, and talk for hours of amusement. Moms in the making will enjoy giving her a bottle and changing her messy diaper. She really eats and expresses her satisfaction by saying, "Mmm, Good." She also lets mommy know when its time to be changed by saying, "Uh-oh, I made a stinky!" When Baby Alive gets tired, she becomes drowsy and eventually falls asleep. She also speaks, has facial expressions, and her big, blue eyes really move.

I bought this doll for my 8 yr old niece. I didn't care for how the doll looked, but she loved it. It was big enough for a big 8 yr old girl. She played with it all day and night. The cost of diapers is now an issue, so feed her sparingly. It was a great gift!!!

One of the children I babysit just got this doll. She fed her some of the green food, and didn't read the instructions that came with the food mix. The green food got stuck in her throat and mouth, and when she tried to feed her again a few hours later, she kept "spitting up." It took a half-an-hour to get the stuff out of her mouth and throat. After that, I mixed up "food" for her out of a drop of food coloring and water to avoid another clogged throat problem. Parental supervision when mixing the food would probably have averted this situation.

I bought this doll for my eight year old grandaughter for Christmas last year. I did not think the doll was very pretty, but my grandaughter loved it. I guess that is what counts. I gave it five stars, letting her opinion override my own. It seemed durable and well made.

Got this doll for my 4yr old for Christmas, it is a great gift and my daughter plays with it all of the time. You want to make sure you follow the food instructions because if you make the food thick it will cause a clog in the doll. The price of the food and diapers are a little expensive, but I just went and got a box of the newborn diapers at wal-mart.
