Product Description The Flood also known as the Parasite by the Covenant, is a species of virulent, savage, parasitic organisms that thrive by consuming sentient life forms of sufficient biomass and cognitive capability. Combat forms are most damaging at close range, utilizing their whip-like mutated arms to lash out with scourging blows of significant force. Human Flood stands at 4.5" tall Has 5 points of articulation Equipped with SMG Weapons are removable

Halo Flood Combat Form HUMAN Review(figure/statue) Posted 20 February 2009 The Mcfarlene Toys(Tood Mcfarlene popular for making the Spawn comic books and novels) Halo series is an amazing series of beautifully sculpted species, people and other things in the Haloverse. The figures in general however, have problems with production problems leading to stiff joints, bad scaled weapons and the like.
However, the Flood Combat Form doesn't actually share those. I'll keep it simple. It is a very detailed figure, more of a statue with a pivoting arm and leg. Which is fine, I keep my figures as a way to ornate my desks, mantles and such. The gun accessory it came with, an SMG, fits well enough to stay in there when the figure isn't moved. It has a hard time standing and needs the black plastic plate that comes with it to hold itself up(the figure is very irregular in shape, the weight only seems distributed to one leg). To prevent stress from the peg and peg hole as the feet are not even with each other, I just put a bunch of coins under his right foot. Now it looks balanced and really cool to show off on top of a fireplace or desk. It looks plenty horrifying as it always had in the games.
Generally its not meant to be played with or articulated/posed much, more of a statuette. Same can be said for some of the other Halo figures. I'd recommend a buy. Make your desk look cool!
Disgustingly cute... Posted 10 February 2009 Writing this on behalf of my 10yo. Human flood is perhaps the most disgusting of his extensive HALO collection. However, it is very well made, and very graphic in appearance. He absolutely loves it! This character would make a nice addition to any HALO collection. A pleasant change from the usual Master Chief and Arbiter fare.
For Looks, Not Play Posted 19 January 2009 I bought this item for my ten year old boy. He was overjoyed, as most boys whose spirits have not been fully broken by public schools would be...but the heads broke off rather quickly. This item is along the lines of the typical mcfarlane "action figures", really meant for adults to collect, not children to play with. Think of it as being like the Janice Joplin figure, not like a Rescue Heroes figure.
It's a genre that has abandoned children for deeper-pocketed adults, like h0 scale trains.
It's accurate and fun to see, but more for looks than play.
Great! Posted 19 January 2009 The flood is actually a very detailed figure and is very durable (nothing breaks off easily). A little hard to balance, and there are only a few points of articulation, but otherwise, this one is perfect.
