If you like action, blood, some nudity, but still enjoy a great story, this is the perfect game for you.

This game is very good though I would warn parents not to expose young children to it. It merits its rating as there are some suggestive sexual scenes and a good deal of blood splattering about. Sense I am a longtime online gamer and EQ spoiled me, please understand that a 4 star from me for a non online game is actually a 5 star!

God of War is one of the greatest video game accomplishments ever. The graphics are incredible for the PS2, the music sensational, and the gameplay addictive beyond words (just when you tell yourself you want to save and quit, you'll find yourself playing an hour more!). My only gripe with this game is the end levels, which are frustrating beyond belief. Still, you'll make it through them even if it takes you 50 tries, because you'll want so much to see how Kratos' story ends. In short, this is a stellar game. If only there were another dozen or so PS2 games that were this good, the PS2 would be by far the greatest console ever.

yo yo. this was a nice game. if you dont mind blood. scary scenes, or nacked then you should DEFINITLY buy this game. so, if you own a ps2 BUT THIS GAME NOW! its gettin cheap, cause the 2nd one came out, so BUY IT!!
Also shadow of the collossus is also a VERY COOL GAME!

Easily one of the best games I have ever played and is easy to see why it won game of the year. If you haven't played this game before you are missing out. The second one is being released this spring.
