Big bubbles, big mess Posted 15 October 2008 Pros: makes big bubbles. doesn't seem to use a lot of bubble juice. batteries have decent life (although requires a lot of batteries)
Cons: the tray to catch the dripping bubble juice doesn't stay put. Even when it does stay put, it doesn't catch all of the bubble juice resulting in a mess (although, at least it is a "clean" mess). We also had to tweak the wand a bit (manually and with a screwdriver) because we were not getting many bubbles. Now it works better.
Decision: Fun. The machine does the work for you and blows huge bubbles. But it's messy, requires a lot of batteries and is not very cheap. If you have the energy, a good 1.00 thing of bubbles is probably just as good.
Lives up to its name! Posted 27 December 2007 I had some trouble finding a bubble machine for our 15 month old daughter who we knew would love one for Christmas. Based on the Amazon reviews, I chose this one and I'm very happy about the purchase. It definitely blows some BIG bubbles and they come out quickly. Our two girls have already had lots of fun chasing the bubbles around. It seems to go through the bubble solution pretty quickly but you kind of expect that based on the size of the bubbles and the speed at which they are generated. Overall, definitely recommended.
My favorite toy! Posted 08 December 2007 I'm 70 years old and I love it. I shoot the bubbles off the balcony of my condo in Mexico. Several of my friends have bought them.
Love it! Posted 05 November 2007 Oh my gosh, my sons love this bubbler - we just got it and added it to the other one that has hundreds of bubble pouring from it. This one makes huge bubbles - amazing. The boys (2 years old and 7 months) love the huge bubbles. My 2 year old is always say "whooo" and loves to try and catch them. Not a hugely educational toy, but fun all the same. Terrific toy!
Gazillion Jumbubbler Giant bubble machine Posted 25 August 2007 The tube that sucks up the bubble solution was fused (not patent) and the unit did not produce bubbles, of course. The top and bottom pieces do not fit well. Poor quality control.
