Simple cause and effect, pretend play toy. My little tot loves all the bubbles!!! While Daddy cooks on his man-grill, our toddler can cook on the bubble grill.

I saw the reviews about this being flimsy and the problems with the bubble goo getting into the battery compartment. I haven't had these problems. It's not super durable and can tip over if you're not setting it on a solid, flat surface. The bubble goo goes right through the thing--there are vents for this purpose--and the instructions tell you to let water flow right over the thing for cleaning, but don't tip it or the water will enter the motor. We've played with it a lot, no problems, only a little tipping, and I'd definitely buy it as a gift for someone.
