Our Editorial Review
Product Description Eye-Lock Room Guard is the high-tech way for girls to "snoop-proof" their bedroom. The high tech "eye-code" allows girls to enter their private color combination and secure their doorknob. Blink the correct code and you can enter; blink the wrong code and an alarm sounds. Requires 3 "AA" alkaline batteries (not included).

a kids point Posted 23 January 2006 this toyb is graet my sisters are always trying to get in and now they cant!
Works Well Posted 31 December 2005 I ACTUALLY HAVE ONE 4 MY DOOR. IT WORKS REALLY GOOD.
I HAVE NO BROTHERS OR SISTERS BUT SOMETIMES I HAVE FRIENDS
OVER AND STILL I LIKE SOME PRIVACY INSTEAD OF JUST HAVING SOMEONE WALK IN ON U. I THINK IT'S NOT MUCH FUN CUZ IT'S NOT REALLY A TOY. LIKE WHY WOULD YOU PLAY WITH SOMETHING THAT'S SUPPOSE 2 GO ON UR DOOR. THE CRAZY THING I NOTICED IS THAT I BOUGHT 1 WHEN THEY WERE @ A LOCAL STORE. I GOT MINE 4 SALE. 4 $2.99!!! BUT I'M GLAD I GOT IT CUZ I COULD HAVE SPENT LIKE $20.00. ALSO WHEN I GOT IT AFTER A WHILE IT GOT ANNOYING BECAUSE IT WOULD FALL OFF AND THE ALARM WOULD GO OFF FOR NO REASON. AND WHEN I WOULD COME OUT OF MY ROOM I WOULD HAVE 2 CLOSE IT FROM UNDERNEATH THE CRACK OF MY DOOR. SO I PUT IT AWAY UNDER MY BED 4 ABOUT A YEAR. JUST RECENTLY I PUT IT BACK ON BECAUSE MY FRIEND GAVE ME SOME VELCRO. I WAS AFRAID IT WOULD FALL OFF AGAIN BUT IT HAS NOT.
ONE MORE THING I REALIZED. WELL WHEN U BLINK UR CODE IT MAKE A NOISE SO I THOUGHT IF SOMEONE HEARD U. THEN THEY COULD FIGURE IT OUT. BUT THAT HAS NOT HAPPENED YET EITHER CUZ I HAVE NO SIBLINGS. AND IT'S NOT LIKE MY 5 GUINEA PIGS CAN COME IN. OR MY CAT ZOE. SO THAT'S WHY IT WORKS 4 ME!
toys for mck dog Posted 24 December 2005 I like them but put more detials
A KIDS POINT OF VIEW Posted 15 November 2005 this toy rocked i got it for christmas 3 years ago and it is still in like mint condition. it is and still is really cool except for one thing...i got it when i was 9 1/2 and it wouldn't stop falling off because of the velcro. So we used screws to attach it to my door. except now it is still on my door and i am now 13 years old and no longer want it there because now i have a REAL lock on my door. also the alarm goes off at random times too. it may seem cool for the first 1 to 2 weeks but it is lame. my advice, parents and kids don't waste your money on it just get a real lock installed in your door.
THE BEST THING EVER FOR A BIG SISTER OF TWIN BOYS!!! Posted 13 November 2005 This is an awesome item for my daughter. She was constantly being bothered by her brothers ANY TIME she would go into her room. Now they know, sister's room is OFF LIMITS. This is a great item for young girls or even boys for that matter who need their privacy yet the parents are still able to access the room at any time without damaging the door lock. I bought it last year on clearance at etoys for only $4....what a bargain! If I ever had to replace it, I would easily pay the $20 for a new one. Amazing, not many toys or things last a year in our house and this room guard has held up nicely through a year of wear and tear!!! I recommend this one to everyone :)
