Product Description The Elegant Aliform is a life-like, noiseless, motorless animated butterfly. Watch in amazement as this robotic Monarch slowly moves her wings, no motor required. Slender butterfly body uses Flexinol Actuator Wires made of a special alloy that changes shape when voltage is applied. Simply plug in the 6V adapter (included) and the heat of the electricity contracts the Actuator Wire like a muscle. The Actuator Wire then relaxes when it cools. Aliforms can be attached to flower displays, plants, or anything else, to draw attention. Perfect for centerpieces, weddings, plants, furniture, computers, windows, flowers and more. Comes with AC adapter, optional battery pack for use with floral or tabletop accents when no AC power is available. Monarch Butterfly Figurine wing dimensions are 5 1/2 inches by 3 1/2 inches.

This is a neat item, I bought it for use in a skit about butterflies. I was disappointed though because in the write up about it, it sounded like the battery pack was included, but it isn't so I can't use it like I was planning on it. Neat idea though, will be a nice conversation piece.
