Not bad, if,,, Posted 06 December 2006 You don't mind NOT keeping your child's artwork. I noticed that the colors slowly fade over some months. I prefer to keep all my children's art, so I use real paint and just keep them naked to paint. Of course, my chairs haven't been so lucky, but that's a small price to pay for being able to keep my children's wonderful paintings.
By the way, my kids are 2 1/2 and 1 1/2.
Great idea for keeping the mess in check Posted 15 May 2006 I bought my daughter these markers and fingerpaints after scrubbing crayon/marker lines off the wall one too many times. So far we've been very pleased. There's a good variety of colors of markers available and lots of different books/pads to choose from. She loves coloring pictures for grandma's fridge and I like that I don't have to search for colors on my walls.
The fingerpaints are rather soft and it's easy to get too much on a little one's fingers if they're not careful. You just have to show them how to carefully (and gently) rub their fingers across the top of the paint color rather than digging in. Also it does take a few seconds for the color to appear on the paper after it's been applied, so that takes a little getting used to.
These are also great for in the car, or when visting someplace where you don't want a mess. My biggest complaint is that the sets are little pricey, but Toys 'R Us seems to have BOGO sales every 3 or 4 months and I stock up then. Overall we're very pleased with these sets and they make a nice addition to our crayon and marker collection.
Fun with the Grandson! Posted 10 March 2006 My three year old grandson and I have spent many hours coloring, finger painting and writing with Crayola Color products. They're great because they work only on the "magic" paper - no mess, no stress. It's all fun!
Happiness Is Not Getting It on the Carpet Posted 27 February 2006 I bought this gift for a friend's son, especially when I noticed that the markers would not show up anywhere except the special paper that comes with the kit. Fortunately, it really worked, which was not only a great relief to the boy's parents, but to me, too, for giving him a gift that won't contribute to a big cleanup for his folks.
crayola color wonder is the best Posted 24 February 2006 I recently bought the crayola color wonder pack for my 2 and 3 y/o children. They love to color all the time. I Love the pack because it is not messy. They can color in the book and not get marker all over them. Also it does not mark on anything except the book. They spend hours just coloring in the book with color wonder. It's an outstanding product. thanks
