Our Editorial Review
Product Description Brain Age: Train Your Brain in Minutes a Day is a fun, rewarding form of entertainment everyone can enjoy. Inspired by cutting-edge neuroscience, it's a full set of reading and mathematic exercises that stimulate the brain. At the start, you'll take a series of tests and get a score that determines how old your brain is. This is your "Brain Age" -- by performing daily exercises just minutes a day over weeks and months, the better you'll get and the lower your Brain Age will get.

Great for 15 minutes a day. Posted 17 March 2007 This game can be pretty addicting, with the charts that track your brain age and daily stamps on the calender tracking how often you play it, you start to want to play it everyday.
The initial game you play to determine your brain age was pretty frustrating because it is a voice recognition game, and apparently it wasn't programmed to understand a Texas draw, because I had to repeat myself over and over to the point I was screaming at the game before it accepted my answers. It gave me a brain age in the 60's. After that I continually told the system I was unable to speak, and without having to use the speaking games my brain age soon got down to 20, the best score of the game.
For a while I made sure I played everyday to get that stamp, but now, it is just something to pick up every once in a while to make sure I've still got it.
You'd never expect it Posted 13 March 2007 When I first saw Brain Age, I thought it was some stupid game about solving math problems, but my brother wanted it bad and so we ordered it. From the moment I started playing it, I got addicted. The competition that you get involved in when you start playing with other people is just exhilarating! I'd recommend to anyone to buy this game.
Addicting but very entertaining Posted 12 March 2007 I kept hearing how great this game was so I bought it. It's definitely addicting, especialy Sudoku, which I was already addicted to before buying the game. But doing the same training games everyday gets kind of old, as does the explanations of how to play EVERY TIME. I keep playing every day so I can try and unlock new games and play the ones I actually do enjoy. But I wouldn't necessarily recommend this game to others like it was for me. I guess it all depends on your personality...
Mom loved it! Posted 12 March 2007 Bought this for my 8 year old grandson. He was mildly entertained by it and had to be encouraged to play it instead of other more exciting games. However, his 30-something mom loved it. He often has to get his DS away from her, especially on car trips. May have to get Mom her own DS for Christmas or something!
LOVE IT! Posted 11 March 2007 If your the type that loves puzzles, this game is for you. A lot of fun! What i love most is that the whole family can play.
