Well, we've had ours a few weeks now. No problems with build quality as others have reported. Our little boy has some Duplo but he's only 15 months and still finds the bricks a little hard to connect together so we hoped this might tide him over until he's a bit better co-ordinated.
Well, it worked out exactly as we hoped. The stickle bricks are much easier for him to connect up, there are the same bright colours as Duplo and lots of interesting shapes. We frequently find he has disappeared off into a corner and is busy concentrating on connecting different shapes together or just building towers.
The case is also really handy for travelling or visiting relatives.

A fantastic toy which provides endless fun for youngsters. The pieces are easy for a toddler to handle and not too small that you worry about the child swallowing or choking on them. My grandchild has endless fun stacking them, building castles with them or just throwing them. The carrier bag they come in is durable and the bricks can be easily stowed away at the end of the day. I have a confession to make here, I enjoy playing with them as well. This is one of the those toys that is timeless as each generation finds endless amusement with them.

I remember Stickle Bricks from when I was a kid and funnily enough they stuck together without any help. Sometimes they needed a fair old tug to get them apart!.....the new an up to date Stickle Bricks however are not the same. Two bricks put together do not stay together as the plastic is lighter and thinner than it used to be. I returned the item not only because of the poor and disappointing quality but also because when I emptied the bag some of the little stickle bits on the blocks fell out of the bag too! Although too small probably to choke on I still didn't fancy letting my 1 year old eat plastic.
Very very disappointed.

I bought these for my son just before his second birthday. That was about 3 months ago now and I can honestly say I cannot think of a day when he has not played with them. The fact they come in a bag is brilliant as we can just pick it up and take it with us wherever we go, and anywhere we do take it it draws other kids like a magnet. They all love them regards of their age. My son also loves posting them in and out of the bag as well as building them, so much so that he almost came to blows with a friends 13 month old when they tried to take the bag to do the same. That is why I say buy the bag.
