We have found a fault that others may experience but have found a way to rectify it. One of ours did not work properly. The demonstration batteries were obviuosly low hence it did not chage colour. We then put Duracel Plus batteries in. These did not work as the nipple on the batteries did not protude enough (unlike the batteries supplied) to reach the connector in the Rainbow Racer. This was rectified by using foil! So if your racer does not work when new batteries inserted, check nipple size to the demonsatrtion batteries. If smaller, add a small amount of tin foil to the top of the batterie. It should work then!
Also avoid puddles. It is not water tight!
