Our Editorial Review
Product Description Pretend to be Robbie Rotten with the Robbie Rotten Dress Up Set, which comes with Wig, Vest, Remote Control, Periscope and Slice of Cake. The periscope plays phrases and songs, and its eyes light up during phrases.
Customer Reviews
A great buy for your Robbie Rotten fan Posted 29 May 2008 As the other 2 reviewers have pointed out, there isn't a lot in the box. I too didn't get a piece of cake or a remote control in the box. It did have the periscope, wig and jacket though. My 4yr old son thinks the periscope is fab and plays with it everyday. Similar to his Sportacus dress-up kit which has the electronic crystal, he always presses the button till it gets to the song! He tends to use the periscope as a camera and loves making everyone in the family say CHEESE to him. He also loves the wig. My son has dark hair and I think that helps it look especially "real" on him. He doesn't bother with the jacket at home, but likes to wear it out to make him look more like Robbie. I do wonder why the manufacturers didn't make a more substantial and durable piece of clothing. The wig too, which my son has got quite dirty, doesn't look like it will last a washing machine cycle. No educational value, a bit disappointing in quality, but a great buy if your child is a fan of the show and loves dressing up!
Great fun for your little Master of Disguise! Posted 04 January 2008 From a grown ups point of view this toy has no educational value however what Lazy town fan would be too worried about that! My only gripe with this is that although it does play Robbie Rotten phrases, I don't believe it is Robbie Rottens voice from the show however I can't say that this has bothered my 2 year old son at all. The description above does say that the eyes light up and it comes with a piece of cake, however the one I received from Amazon doesn't. It does however come with a rather naff Robbie wig and waistcoat which my son hasn't been interested in. The actually toy part my son has played with loads and seems to be well made, hence I have rated the stars based on the periscope part only. I don't think I would pay full price for this but at the moment it is a Lazy Town bargain.
