Our Editorial Review
Product Description The Fisher Price Sit-To-Stand Giraffe will help to teach your child through that important milestone of learning how to stand up on their own two perfect little feet The easy grasp handles that also double us as the giraffes ears are there to help baby to hold onto something when they are trying to stand up. Drop the 3 colourful balls into the giraffes mouth and watch as they tumble down the spirally slide and out of one of the feet at the bottom. When your child does this the giraffe will reward them with a funky tune The lights will also flash on top of the giraffes head, this helps to teach your little one about cause and effect. There is also powervolume control switch located on the top of the giraffes head for easy access. Requires 3 AA batteries for use.

wonder giraffe! Posted 14 April 2008 My daughter is 9 months and has had the giraffe for about a month. She stands up using it no problem and immediately stops crying and turns to it if I start playing with it and she is upset. We had no problems at all and all her cousins (1yr to 4yrs) love playing with it too.
Not so stable Posted 13 February 2008 I bought this for my 8 month old son thinking this would help him in his standing and sitting phase. But despite the large paddles that look like they would keep giraffe stable, he is not able to haul himself up to stand on the "ears" as it tips onto him! There needs to be a weight in the base Fisher Price! So if you are looking to get this, be sure your child is competant at standing on their own.
We did manage to get all the parts in place and do not have problems with the balls rolling down it.
