I bought this doll for my daughter's birthday and it's not very often I have seen her soooo happy with a toy! The doll interacts well with her accesories, says she's hungry, thirsty (and asks for more if she's still hungry/thirsty or says she's had enough), asks for a cuddle, gives 'her mummy' a kiss, says I love you and asks to be picked up. The educational value of this toy I find, is that my daughter feels responsible for the doll (in a very subtle way). Also, having to do everything for the doll, make children realise everything a Mum has to do for her child. For example, if the doll asks for food, she goes and gets it for her, even if she has to go upstairs. She also runs for a tissue every time the doll sneezes. She even kisses the doll for no reason. I think for her it's almost as if a toy has come alive.
My daughter has only had this doll for a week, so can't really say how durable it actually is, but it looks well built, so I have rated it with 5 stars.
