Lovely house Posted 23 October 2008 I bought this house for my daughter last december for her 2nd birthday and I don't think a day has gone by when she hasn't played in it. It is beautiful and hardwearing and she is deperate to have the kitchen and 'sofa' and often invites friends round for a 'cuppa tea and a slice of cake'.
A Lovely PlayHouse Posted 24 August 2008 I purchased the playhouse for my daughter, who has been enthralled with it from last year. Knowing that children sometimes beg for an expensive product then loose interest, caused me to be cautious before purchasing it.
I would say the quality of the product is very good. It has a metal frame and strong covering. The cooker which came with it, slots together. It does appear to be fairy sturdy, with careful play it should be fine. Though it would make me think twice before buying the other pieces of furniture as I presume they are made of the same material.
All in all I think it is a great product and has made two little girls (6 and 5) very happy.
It's a must have buy Posted 19 August 2008 Rose Petal Cottage is not just lovely to look at it is hardwearing, easy to manouvre and my 3 year old daughter and her friends play in it for hours, as do her two older brothers (5&7) although they would not admit to this! I have the accessories and disagree that they are not hardwearing - they are not cardboard but a type of plywood covered in a hard laminate and so far have been very durable - they are easy to assemble and have withstood lots of rough and tumble and a move from Germany to the UK. I intend to buy the shop and accessories for Christmas and hope I am as pleased with these products as I am with the Dream House ones.
Great fun for everyone Posted 05 December 2007 My 6 year old daughter was given this as a present, I thought it might have been a bit young for her but she has had great fun in it. It's been great to see her playing with her (rough and tumble) 3 year old brother-a great space for imaginative play where they seem to be in their own world. The house is well made and easy to store as one side neatly fits into the other. I would agree though that the accessories are expensive and not of great quality.
Poor quality of accessories and construction Posted 02 December 2007 Accessories seem to be made out of cardboard and are expensive, given the poor quality. I doubt this will stand up to much use and the house itself is a bit small for them to actually play inside. Lots of marketing but could be disappointing...
