There's even an auto-switching 3-color night light. Back-up battery remembers the time and alarm setting in the event of a power failure, and will activate the alarm. I bought this for my 7 yr old daughter to help her get up in the morning.She really likes it as you can record you own wake up message- Ours is a reminder to get dressed as she always wakes before the alarm. You can set 2 different alarm times if necessary and there is a snooze function too. The night light function is a bit wierd as the light sequence is very fast- it would be nicer if the lights changed more slowly. The radio reception is not brilliant but we can pick up our local stations.
